Well compared to all the others in the band I was a bit of a late starter to all this stuff but it all began about 10 years ago. I called in to see a friend of mine Pete who had been training down the gym with me, and this day he answered the door with an acoustic in this hand. I mentioned that I would like to record a couple of songs mainly for friends and family to hear. We picked out the two songs that I wanted to record Love is all around and tears in heaven and was quite pleased with the result.

Well at work one day I decided to play the tape to see if the staff at my shop could tell who was singing , while the tape was playing a customer came in had heard me say it was me that was on the tape, he asked if he could take it away and listen to it as he was looking for a singer !A little while later he returned and asked if I would sing in their band which later settled on the name Panic mainly because that’s how we all felt on the first gig.

The band when through many changes in members and names during the 7 years I was with them from Bare Bones to Skeleton Crew and finally Mcguire. After which I didn’t do much within the band scene until I answered that e mail and met up with Garry, Phil and Mick. The band has given me a new lease of life and it’s really great to find people on the same wavelength both on a personal and musical level.
